Our Adults and their friends: Photo Page!

Welcome to our web site!

This site is to show off our beautiful miniature dachshunds. We are a family that love dachshunds, and over time have gotten addicted to the little guys. Starting out with our first altered red male that has since passed away and adding a few more along the way. Our dachshunds are part of our family, inside and always under foot, or under the covers, laundry, or blankets, I should say.
They are first and foremost our pets and live in our home, with any pups I have being raised in our kitchen. When I do have pups for sale I post them on my nursery page. I get all color and coat types just out of the few dogs I have. My main goal is to produce lovable family companions with great temperaments.
Please feel free to look at all my fun photo pages. You can also find more links and information by browsing the pages found in the left hand column or feel free to contact me if I can be of any help.

All our dachshunds are registered with either the American Kennel Club(AKC) or Continental Kennel Club(CKC)

Breeding great tempered dogs is very important to me because that's what I had the hardest time finding when i bought my first few dachshunds years back. I strive for Great companion dogs. Doxies still should be socialized when young. When raised around kids and strangers, they will love kids and strangers.

Thanks for stopping by and Enjoy the web site!

The a short-legged, elongated dog breed of the hound family. The breed's name is German and literally means "badger dog" (der Dachs - badger; der Hund - dog). The breed was developed to scent, chase, hunt, and kill badgers and other hole-dwelling animals. Due to their long, narrow build, they are sometimes referred to in the United States and elsewhere as "wiener dogs" or "sausage dogs".

AKC Size, Proportion, Substance
Bred and shown in two sizes, standard and miniature, miniatures are not a separate classification but compete in a class division for "11 pounds and under at 12 months of age and older."
Weight of the standard size is usually between 16 and 32 pounds.
And what they call tweenies are dachshunds that weigh in between the minis and the standards.
